Adderall 1 Week, So far so good

by Anita
(Billings, Mt)

I've been on Adderall for a week now and I'm amazed at the improvement its has made on my overall ability to concentrate. I am 43 and was diagnosed 3 years ago. I was taking Strattera but the effectiveness of it seemed to diminish. I only take one pill a day and do not take them on days I have off from work. I am doing this so not to become too dependent on them. My job is very detailed and taking this has improved my job performance.

I do not have an addictive bone in my body and have never become dependent on any medicine (or drugs) so i do feel pretty secure that the addictive side of this medicine shouldn't affect me too much. I don't believe I will be taking it twice a day as prescribed but only as needed.

Overall I do believe with the right dosage and being responsible with the medication, your life can see a visible and productive change. At least my husband is glad to see me back on track again and not losing stuff and able to complete tasks fully and completely!

And if weight loss is a horrible side effect...then horray! An extra benefit for me!!

Good for you.
by: Debbie

Good for you. I've been taking 20 mg of Adderall for over 2 years now and I've never become addicted to it. I used to have to go without it periodically because we couldn't afford it, but that caused me a lot of problems, so now, I don't miss a day.
