Iv been addicted to adderall

by Nick
(East Longmeadow, MA )

Yes, i had a whopping two years of abusing adderall XR and i lost about 14 pounds and now iv gained it all back. When i became dependent on it i had extreme dizziness, headache, confusion, and a binge and crash cycle being up all nights.

I am 17 years old and almost 18 and was about 15 when i became addicted. i now have a heart murmur after about two months of being off adderall and i dont know if it could be linked to my excessive abuse of the amphetamine adderall.

Re: this med is HIGH RISK.................
by: TJ Chambers

Adderall is known to stunt growth. Many people don't eat as much because they don't feel hungry. It is a stimulant and I have noticed people with symptoms from the drug like OCD. So it's no surprise to me that you would experience anxiety.

It is good that you aren't using it but you are going to have to work on your diet and supplement useage. This way you can stay off of the drugs.

this med is HIGH RISK.................
by: Anonymous

Adderall caused me too have excessive weight loss with excessive weight gain shortly after i stopped taking it. I too was on the drug for about two years and in the mean time experienced many negative symptoms. Two of them being extreme anxiety and a huge appetite loss. I decided to quit the med because i hated feeling like i was a druggie and the days i didn't take it i was so tired and sluggish i barely got anything done. Coming off of it was the worst, its been about a year now and im glad to be adderall free because long term effects i heard will probably be devastating, since the drug is still so new on the market the longterm effects are still to come. Later on from now i wouldn't want to be a statistic in 10 or 20 yrs, a deranged adderral victim!!!!!! I'd rather have good health, my life- and MY MIND!!!

Thanks Nicke

Nick,

Thanks for sharing this with us. I know the problems with these kinds of drugs. That is why I want to tell people. The active ingredient in Adderall is one of the mind control drugs that the CIA uses.

These drugs are dangerous and do not address the problem. I do not use any drugs and I am doing very well. My thyroid is out of wack right now and I am working on getting that under control.
