lottery analogy explains ADHD perfectly

by Leanne
(UK)

My son is 9 and was diagnosed at 6 with ADHD. After 3yrs of fighting with schools, the education department and doctors, he started on Ritalin and was expelled from school just before his 6th birthday. Ritalin calmed his hyperactivity and the unit he was refered to helped him back in to mainstream school althogh he was held back a year. He is now back in his right year and is one of the top in his class. For years I tried to explain his condition and now I found your site. It explains it perfectly with the lottery effect. Thank you and im going to explore you site some more.
