My four year old is gifted

by Kelly
(Crystal City, MO)

My five year old daughter was diagnosed with ADHD at 3. She has it very severely, to where she becomes violent for no apparent reason, and almost seems as if she's having siezures at times, but it's just that she can't sit still. She spoke full sentences at 18 months. She has been tested and screened to be at least 2-3 years above her age level cognitavely. She read at a 1 grade level at 4. She likes to watch movies in another language just because she can. Everything she does is years and years beyond her age. She amazes us every day. I was curious when I saw this article, because I have always said that the trade off of the ADHD is her intelligence.

About Seizures
by: TJ Chambers

I'm not really sure about the seizures thing you mentioned. I also use to be very hyperactive but no one ever said that they thought I had seizures. That sounds concerning to me.

I recommend that you get Deborah's book. Check it out at this link.

Gifted four Year Old

Your daughter should have a Qeeg done to rule out seizures. Heavy metal toxicity, especially lead can also cause violent behavior and ADHD symptoms. To learn more about detox and seizures- visit my website http://www.victoryoveradhd.com
