ADHD Basics Newsletter, Issue #020 -- I Finished First
January 08, 2009

Today at work we had a 2 hour training class. It was all about formatting our documents for the documentation that we have to write.

Talk about boring. I usually don't do very well retaining information in that kind of training.

After the training, the instructor gave us a quiz and to try to make it fun they gave a prize to the first 3 people that turned theirs in and got the answers right.

There was about 10 people. The youngest was about 28 and the oldest were in their 70's. The inbetween people were in the 30's and 1 in their 50's.

Well, I was the first to turn my 10 question quiz in and I got them all correct.

The 2nd person to turn his in got 1 wrong and I didn't pay attention to find out how everyone else did.

I was the only ADHD person there and I got it in 1st and had all the answers correct.

5 minutes later, there were a couple people still working on theirs and they never turned it in.

Why am I telling you all this?

I am telling you this because when a person that has ADHD eats properly and takes the right supplements for vitamins, minerals and good fats, that person can exceed the performance of others without ADHD.

I don't take any medication and I have the combined type ADHD (which is all the symptoms relating to hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention).

It's not hard to eat right and take the right supplements but it does take work and some money. The stuff that is bad for you is cheap. Ever wonder why our healthcare cost so much in the USA?

So, you can do it. You can be that same person as myself, or help your child to be that, or your spouse.

Whoever that ADHD person is in your life, this can be them.

Regards, TJ Chambers
