ADDERALL XR
My now almost 8 yr old was diagnosed with ADHD with severe Inattention at the age of 5 yrs old. my 5yr old was not ready for Kindergarten because he was not going to the bathroom like he should be, urinating and BMing himself without even noticing he had an accident. Complete lack of focus and attention all day, just running around blindly from one room to another, watching tv, then go play with a toy, then pull out a puzzle and leave it on the floor unfinished, then want to color, then watch a movie, on & on it went all day and it was exhausting. He started taking Concerta at 5 yrs old and all it did was make him emotional and not focus at all, but it stopped the potty accidents. So we tried Adderall methanphetamine 10mg and that worked miracles for awhile in Kindergarten and when he got to the 1st grade he started having BM accidents again and not finish his school work and wandering around the classroom. So we tried Adderall XR 20mg and that worked good and stopped the accidents and the wandering to a minimum. We are still trying to work with the teachers to tell him to sit down and not wander, but to give him breaks and things to fiddle with like clay or playdoh to help him keep focus until his paper is done.
