boss with adhd

my boss is a using drug addict an alcoholic and has adhd. He drives me crazy and is starting to threaten me and my family. I am thinking about starting my own business but he made me sign an over broad non compete clause. I feel sorry for him but I cannot put up with his abusiveness anymore any suggestions? Thanks

Carl,

I don't know the extent of your situation. If he is threatening you with harm, then you need to report it to the police. I do know what other kind of threatening you and your family there is.

Im really not sure though what kind of help you are seeking.

Just sounds like you need to find another place to work.
