DIET CHANGE NEW
by: England

I have only known about ADHD a couple of years ( I am in my fifties) The last few months I have been looking for a cure/answer. At first it was great , all these other people with similar problems to me pouring their hearts out , telling their stories.

I could of wrote most of the stories myself, people trying so hard and failing time after time. But after a while ,I have started to realise after reading hundreds of letters no one ever seems to write " I tried/do this and I am cured or improved considerably !"

Anyway it has given me a new direction looking on these pages. After eating and drinking junk all my life , i have tried cutting out processed foods and drinks ,the last month. I mainly am eating nuts ,more fish ,poultry ,greens and drinking just water.

I am mostly feeling calmer and seem to be more focused and also generally seem to be getting more important things done without getting side tracked so often.

I had a lapse last night and had some cake, crisps ,coke and bread. I am glad I am writing this letter this morning ,but I am sure if I had not lapsed last night , I would probably now be trying to get on with things I have been putting off in my life for ages and not posting on here.

I probably have not put my view across clearly , what I am trying to say is . It is really refreshing to read some good positive articles by TJ and other peoples comments that are actually helping them to improve.THANK YOU.

Eggs and ADHD symptoms
by: TJ Chambers

I think I mentioned it on this page but when I eat free range non hormone no antibiotic eggs to often, I had reactions that were increased ADHD symptoms. You could be experiencing that.
