My name is Megan and my just about to turn 7 yr son has been difficult since starting school, I just thought it was his personally. I had accountless meetings with teachers, school mental professionals, and many tests etc. Finally after 2 yrs he's been diagnose with ADHD. My concern was putting him on Ritalin. I've been trying so many techniques for helping with his behaviour and they didn't seem to work. So my husband and I agreed to see if Ritalin 10 tablets (one a day only) would help, it does (we don't give it to him on weekends or holidays) but it wears off early afternoon. It's now been suggested he upgrades to the slow release 20 capsules. Now I'm worried about the side effects like not eating and sleeping issues.
