ADHD Diet and Math Questions

by Cindy
(Kansas)

Hi, I am a wife and mother of 6 (3 boys and 3 girls) Now half the state of Kansas knows exactly who I am! I am struggling with our oldest - 9yr. boy. he deffinitely displays ADD symptoms most of the time and hyperactivity some too.

I had two questions to start off with...
How long do you have to give up oranges, apples, tomatoes, etc?
And, what are the math tips that helped Vicka in Pennsylvania?

I am still in the process of convincing my husband that we need to try this program. We are both ready to medicate our son as we see his grades drop and his social anxiety increase.

Sincerely, Cindy

Before medicating your son
by: Anonymous

Before medicating your son, consider having a heavy metal test done. High levels of lead, mercury and cadmium can cause symptoms of ADHD and other neurological disorders. There are safe and effective ways to remove heavy metals from the body.
Also, don't allow your son to eat any foods or drinks that have artificial food coloring.

Eating Fruit
by: TJ Chambers

I don't know of any reason to not eat fruit. Eating to much at 1 time could put to much sugar in the body. Fruit is good to help get the bowels moving and keep them moving. Apples are good to also help clean the blood stream but the bowels must be moving 3-4 times a day.
