i struggled at school and lacked alot of concentration, organising my things together for class, too easily distracted and often had temper out usts due to frustration in class.. im 22 now and i am always late for work, i am dis organised even tho i try get things in order i somehow never manage it. i have truoble with relationships and zone out of conversations alot. my life is difficult and unsure why. can anyone give any advice professionally or anyone with same problem know wat it is?

About ADHD

Just cutting out sugar and foods with colorings is not the only thing that needs to be done. There is more to it then that.

There are a lot of issues surrounding ADHD. What I recommend is to get this book. This book introduces all the issues and will give you a good understanding of ADHD.

i cut out alot of sugar foods, food wiothout colorings, i tried to eat foods without added crap basically. what did the doctor that assessed you look for to confirm you had adhd? i been to see a phyciatrist and being referred again, how do they know i have adhd for definate? i know they say i got it but what if it somet else instead? thanks for replying again.

What Kind of Diet

What kind of diet did you do exactly? It is good to know what you ate and drank all day, each day.

most people think they did a good diet to find that either they didnt do as good as they thought or they ate to many carbs and not enough protein.

thanks for responding, yeh i have tried this kind of diet but im stil the same, im 22 and its quite annoying. i do zone out alot too wen people talk too long. an do you ever find it hard to get your sentances in order when you try explain stuff to some1? thanks our being helpful. my bedroom i tidy often but never organised, duno why i bother, always looks the same.

Yes I have ADHD

Yes I have ADHD. I'm 32. My days aren't as bad since I have been reducing my symptoms with diet and a vitamin and mineral supplement.

My apartment is really dis organized and we still havent fully unpacked since we moved 8 months ago. I also zone out when reading or in a conversation if someone talks to long.

The advice you want is on this website. Eat a good diet of fresh foods and reduce the amount of carbs and cut out the sugar and dairy. Pay attention to how things you eat effect you.

Only a doctor can diagnose you if you have ADHD or not. Check out this ADHD Assessment Checklist and verify your behaviors and tendencies towards ADHD. If most of them fit you, then there is a really good chance you are ADHD.

What you describe sounds a lot like the problems I experienced myself.
